Strathraven was a house where an old aunt lived years ago and in it she had bobbin furniture that had been clumsily ebonised. I remembered a bedroom where I used to sleep and thought it would be fun to do my version of it complete with polka dot drawer linings made by hand of marquetry.
This dressing table works perfectly as a desk.
